Behavioural Support Strategies (BSS) BSS is a person centred training approach for staff who work with people who may challenge service provision.

What is Behavioural Support Strategies (BSS)?

BSS is a BILD accredited organisation which provides training across the Social and Health Care Sector in Scotland and more recently Northern Ireland. Originally established in 2001 by 6 Voluntary Sector organisations who had a strong commitment to the benefits and values of the BSS approach, BSS continues to support 17 organisations with over 80 instructors across Scotland and 1 organisation with 5 Instructors in Northern Ireland. BSS is now hosted by VSA, a leading Aberdeen charity which continues to support the development of the service provided by BSS.
